Hi All, Can anyone recommend what is the best place for HID-Xenon Conversions in SL? I have found few place who do HID-Xenon Conversions in big.. 1. Adv**ce C*r Ad**o 2. P*tco La*ka 3. S*n La*ka If money is not concerned and if you are looking for the 'BEST' HID-Xenon Conversions what is the place..? Please do share ur ideas.. BTW: Does this conversions have focus sing issues. Since different cars have different bulb types (H4,H7,...) I believe most common type is H4 right..? (My car also have normal H4 headlights..) Thank You, Kmeeg.

My best place is Goonawardana Cushion Works - Wijerama. (Sameera -0785492555) They have good collection of fabric & leather. They even do super job for classics also.

Rameez, Just try for loan schemes at BoC. I got comparatively fair interest for a 5Year loan. I heard some banks are giving loans for 7years also. I can help you with some contacts at BoC.. I'm not trying to promote any banks here but i'm telling this because they have served me good.. Cheers, K.

Hi Rameez, I know we've been talking abt different old cars with your post. What i think is it's really safe to go for atleast a brand new maruti or if you can go for bit higher budget then you may go for perodua viva. I telling you with experience, not by hearing what others say. But its true that they are not too good as brand new toyota. Cheers, K.

I know a place you can get the paint job done as a first step.. (The place where i did my paint job) Actually to take your car to the level of the car in the pic is not impossible. I can help you with my contacts.

Yes.. I also agree that Toyota KE-72 DX Wagon is a good car. But its like this, If you don't get a good condition car you are in trouble. I also have a KE 72 where i did a full engine repair + fully re-paint, etc.. etc... Now its very reliable & comfotable. If you don't car that condition car you may be in trouble.. Another idea is get a good loan and go for a brand new car. Because even though i maintain my KE72 with lot of care sometime i have to go to the garage for small small issues, for example like brake pad adjustments, small small engine misses.. This occueres because even though you do a full engine repair still your engine is like 20+years old. But with my brand new car has never reported any issues for 1.5years. What i'm trying to say is when you go for a brand new car you are not worried abt maintenence plus good fuel economy. Don't believe that KE72 parts are available. No its not always correct. I was looking for a PCV Valve but i couldn't found it in panchikawatta. So i got it from eBay.. Finally, i will tell you this. If you are gonna buy a KE72 for your only car maintenence might be higher than a maruti.. Cheers, K. <-- Picture of the car is attached.. & its not for sale.. -->

When you are parking in the sun you will defenetly have to use a reflector mate. Christaline is not that heat-proof. But i can tell you its better than the light tint. But i think it will not beat the darkest 3M tint.. But it sure beat darly-road light tint as i tinted one car from darly-road.. Best thing for me is that i won't have problems with cops and at the same time it reduces some amount of heat from the sun.. When you go to 3M for crystaline tint they will show you that 0% heat is comming to their UV light. But its not the case for sun. You get some amount of heat from the sun. Its like 50:50 story. I can def tell you it will not 100% reduce heat..
-
You should have done the crystaline tint for the same price... :) Then you will never have problems with cops..!! (It only cost me 30K..) For those who don't know abt this tint to go the following link- http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Window_Film/Solutions/Markets-Products/Automotive/Crystalline_Automotive_Films/

Hi All, - What is the best place for HID Conversions..? Need to fix a genuine one, not the once which glare on other drivers.. - My electrical guy said all most all HID kits cannot be focused properly, and the result is you get the light every where.. So it'll be worse than your normal lights where useable light is lesser than normal properly focused ones. And he also said that HID's are much worse in rainy days.. Any ideas abt this friends..?? Cheers.. K.

You can find 4 led dashboard bulbs from SL. There is a shop between panchikawaththa junc and technical junc. more towards panchikawaththa junc. can't remember the name of the shop though.. As i remember pair of bulbs were Rs150. You can buy in different colours.. Another point this was not 100% success for my corolla dx wagon. It was bright near the bulb but not other areas as led light doesn't spread much light.

Still no luck for new dashboard meter panel. Tried few places..

Hi Friends, I'm planning to restore my corolla dx wagon meter panel in the dashboard. I have tried different options to make it more visible at night but didn't succeeded. I tried removing green cover from the original bulbs, fixing new 4bulb Led set.. nothing works properly. Please help me on this. My only requirement is to make it look original and not to make it sporty.. I'd be glad if i can find a place which can replace the meter panel with a new one which look like may be AE 110 / FB14 meter panel. <<not very new looking once, because it might not match to the old car.. right..>> Attached is a pic of the car.. Please please please help me on this.. Thank you..

I fixed cetral locking + security system for 12K from SN Lnka near wattala abt a year ago for a corolla wagon and still its working fine. I had a issue with the hazard light and they fixed it too with no additional charge <hazard light is needed for the security system>. i'm quite happy with the service. I'm also planning to fix a secu system for a VW Beetle too. they said they can fix it. TIP - I replaced all my locks from a garage before fixing sec system. It's upto you mate..

One friend bought a accent with 60K+ on ODO and later he found that the meter was adjusted and he is having few problems with engine now.. I found a web site that says viva 660 company rating is 18.7KMPL..! (pallamakada danne na.. ) Any other options for cheap small cars brand new..?? (Should check out the viva as well)
