Depending on the extent of the damage, you might still be able to get it repaired. Try Macro as TT suggested or search the forum for names of other places. I think there are a couple of places in Slave Island as well. Finding just one rim will be next to impossible IMO given that the rim appears to be a cheap one.

Can you please stop opening multiple threads about buying a car? We understand it's important to you, but there are three other threads opened by you about the same topic within the past couple of months. Please stick to one thread. Also, all the cars you have listed have been discussed on the forum. Do a search.

Welcome to the forum! What exactly is wrong with the rim you want to replace? If it's bent or warped, you might be able to get it repaired.

Do a compression test. It will tell you if there is the need to overhaul the engine or check for other causes such as an issue with the transmission of this is an automatic.

Don't all reconditioned "delivery" type vehicles fall into the same category? They are all used for commercial purposes and not personal use. Having a "rent-a-car" sticker doesn't make it any worse IMO. Anyway, about OP not being able to speed over 80, since the vehicle has a bit of mileage on the ODO, it's good to do a compression test to make sure all cylinders have sufficient compression. If you bought the vehicle recently, better change all fluids as well, just to eliminate any doubts, especially if automatic. Also agree with Twin Turbo's advice in his first response.

Welcome to the forum. I hope this is the last time I'm saying this for 2016, but please search the forum! The CS Lancer has been discussed over and over and OVER again. Also, the 4G13 carburettor engine is straightforward and pretty much any carburettor expert can get it tuned. Also search the forum for Mr. Dhammika Fernando. Depending on your driving style, the CS1 does about 8 to 10 km/l in the city, so you shouldn't expect it to do more than 10 even after the tuneup.

Lancer Or Axio? Update: Bought A Lancer! (Aka The B.r.a.t.t. Thread)
Davy replied to Bracket's question in Car Buying Information
As I've mentioned in the PM, the difference in diameter between your stock rims and the ones you're going to purchase is negligible. So the effect on the speed 'o meter will be too small to worry about. Your current rim has a taller sidewall, but the 18 inch rims have a shorter one (lower "profile"), so the overall diameter is almost the same. Also, since the new alloys are meant for the Lancer EX, they're the option with the least effect on the speed and economy meter. Bottom line is, don't worry about it. If you really want to know the effect, punch in the old and new tyre sizes in the website* below: https://tiresize.com/tyre-size-calculator/ *Go to the "tyre comparison" section- 800 replies

Lancer Or Axio? Update: Bought A Lancer! (Aka The B.r.a.t.t. Thread)
Davy replied to Bracket's question in Car Buying Information
The Lancer GT comes with 7 inch wide rims with +46 offset and comes with 225/45R18 tyres. This will fit. The Evo X rims are 8.5 inch wide and +38 offset and comes with 245/40R18 tyres and they will have clearance issues on the back wheels for sure with stock suspension. So which rims are you using exactly? I am running a set of Evo X BBS wheels on my Lancer RalliArt right now and they rub the wheel arch when there is more than 1 person on the back seat. (This is how it looks like) But if the tyres are 235/40R18, they will rub, but a lot less. A remedy is to roll the fenders. Otherwise your tyres will get damaged.- 800 replies

Corolla 141 Parking lights and dash lights not working
Davy replied to Eranga89's question in Electrical problems
There should be another fuse box under the dashboard. Check the fuses there before taking anything apart. The fuse for illumination should be in this fuse box and not in the engine fuse box. -
Isn't this another fancy word for what most other car sales are already doing (ie import "pre owned" cars)?

Lancer C12, Gurgling sound during hard acceleration
Davy replied to Iced-T's question in Mechanical problems
Well, since you seem to have done a proper gearbox replacement, I guess we can safely assume that it's not related. Knowing @Rumesh88's knowledge on carbs, I think your best bet is to follow his advice. Cleaning the carburettor followed by a proper "tuning" should sort out your issue. -

Lancer C12, Gurgling sound during hard acceleration
Davy replied to Iced-T's question in Mechanical problems
Sounds like pre-ignition knock. There can be many reason for this ranging from bad fuel, lean air/fuel mixture, wrong ignition timing, bad spark plugs, insufficient fuel pressure and carbon deposits in the intake and carburetor. a proper inspection needs to be done to determine the actual cause. Didn't your car have a gearbox issue a few weeks ago? Was that sorted and was the correct transmission fluid used? Did this ignition issue happen immediately after the gearbox repair? Just trying to figure out if the mechanic messed up the transmission which thereby causes it to put an extra load on the engine. Also remember that it could be driving style as well. If you are in a hurry to shift to the next gear before reaching the correct minimum speed for the next gear, pre-ignition knock maybe heard. -
The thing is Kavvz, the world used to react in pretty much the same way when Japan's automotive industry standard growing after WW2. They never expected Japanese cars to be as reliable as the European ones which were considered the benchmark of reliability. If you're a fan of Back to the Future, then I quote: And that's what people thought about Japan in 1955 vs 1985. Times change. Also, this documentary by Jeremy Clarkson. Watch the part from 5:08 to 7:00 if you don't have time to watch the whole thing. So you should totally test drive the Genesis IMO.

Seller name is "Shehan house builders". I guess this is what happens when you let a house builder build a car.
-
Their slogan has done it's job then: On a more serious note, Kia - Hyundai get their engines built from GEMA (Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance) and that is managed by Chrysler (FCA - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) I think. So they're not what they used to be 10 years ago.

He has used Mercon LV, which is not Mercon V nor Mazda ATF M-V. I'm just going to leave this link here: http://am.mazdaserviceinfo.com/library/MAZDAESI/Technical Service Bulletins/en_us/pdf/05-002-13-2777a.pdf Note that the bulletin was initially released in 2008 although it says 2011 - 2013 Mazda 2.

First of all, lose the caps please. No need to scream. Secondly, why don't you share the link of the page from "Mazda Motor Corporation Hiroshima Japan" where you copied this information from? Because copy pasting that text in your answer into Google shows the exact formatting and table structure in one (and only one) website: http://cararac.com/gear_oil/mazda/2.html That looks nothing like "Mazda Motor Corporation Hiroshima Japan" to me.

Lancer Or Axio? Update: Bought A Lancer! (Aka The B.r.a.t.t. Thread)
Davy replied to Bracket's question in Car Buying Information
I can confirm what @Jor-el has explained is correct. Basically, the INFO button has two "press modes". Short press: Selects the next item Long press: Confirm or Enter On pre 2014 models where the Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) is available, this can be done much easier through the touch interface. The MMCS is connected to the CAN Bus of the car and the features in that is quite impressive. Too bad it was not an option for the Lancer EX in Sri Lanka. It would be interesting to see if it can be installed though. Not sure if navigation will work though.- 800 replies
