not my personal experience but me and a friend of mine went to a mobile phone repair shop to cut his sim to fit on his iphone and they cut the sim free of charge.
why dont u try your luck on that?
O,o maybe this is why, the liana i use dosent give me much of this trouble.
a negativity i faced is the fuel meter has a mind of its own. sometimes it has fuel. sometimes its blinking and telling me, there not much fuel left
non of those mentioned vehicles would be good off roaders.
if u want an all rounder like that. best go for a Landrover discovery or a defendet
which will surve ur purpose of on road n off road
The liana is a bad choice. i use my uncles one for some time now and i don't have much complain about it.
its spacious. (leg space and boot space)
if its a auto, it does around 8-10kmpl (don't know about manual)
the car has good pulling power (if its a 1.5 or a 1.6)
good ride comfort. has a bit of a high seating position
the car can be a bit jerky in high speeds
i didn't meet with any electrical or mechanical problems yet. the car is very reliable for me. Worth the money
never seen those in tire shops before, but once saw a similar recon allys once in a yard in mawanella. but they only had 3 wheels.
but try the recon alloy shop near the vendol factory in the colombo - kandy road. they might have
U can change the modulator of your set up but with my previous experience with a japanese kenwood set up. i say its better to rather by a second hand full band set up.
okay to keep the thread alive

Good tip machan,
Sanjeev and cali why dont you try this, your average fuel consumption will be very high ban.
the best method is to push the car downhill with the engine switched off and run behind it with a calculator machan. its very effective
i changed my steering rack on a fb14 last year, found a power steering rack from a spare parts join in akurana.
cost me 13000/=
150k is way too much.
don't know about repairing though.
auto and it does change gear on 3000+ revs. and thats the main reason why it wont give big fuel figures.
and about spares. my moms a very bad driver. so finding spares that time was not so hard.
i still say OP go for it. its not the best carm but its value for buck.
i have used two hyundais in my life. the accent and matrix.
though i personally havent owned the accent (the accent was my moms cars a long time back)
i have driven and ridden them enough.
the engine might be not that gutsy. but its fare for our roads. and being in hill country i can garuntee that it can go on steap hills.
the only prob for me is the cheap plasticky interior.
hari hari.. my corona does 20kmpl average when i start my car and keep thr engine running for like a hour and then move thr car few feet. amazing neda meyala
seems like cali n sanjeev went to the same maths class ne
