    Bmw - Dsc

Damn Jwest. I read just as you posted this, but never knew how helpful it would be. At the Moment i rev to 9000 rpm in my rx 8 and just took it out when it was raining and i off the DSC and was travelling ( 5500rpm )and i felt that the car was slipping a bit ( Like Loosing Traction on the Rear ) And I accelrated cos the feeling was fun. And HOLY SHIT.... rear of rx8 started waggin realy badly. Luckily no cars were around me. and i was so scared that i might scrape my wheels on the pavememt. And thank god it did not scrape. I was so scared at this moment. Did a opposite Lock, Surpirsingly the DSC turned itself on and car straigtned itself up. Seriously thank you to DSC. This just happend 15 min back. I will never drive the rx 8 again on rain with DSC off. I once remember jeremey clarkson told the same thing. But i never took it seriously. I guess somethings should be learned the hardway.
  3. sumith is very good indeed. Truly Recomend Him.
  4. Damn the amount of cops there were yesterday. I guess may be at every turning. Its just absurd. I hate to come to colombo anymore. its like a warzone. You dont feel very free any more. Hardly any place to park a car any more. what a pathetic situation. I am sure most of the colombo business might get affected due to this. I heard that some shops have less 50 % business this year.

    Mazda - Image

About the Mazda Agent. Infact Mazda Old Fashioned Management is over. Now its Headed by His Son who took over the management, and He is just 25 years old and has turned carmart back. So give him a bit of time, he will do the needfull to make what ever brand image lost. If you have visited CARMARTS booth on some motorshows and the recent launch of the 307, you will be amazed to see how they have come up with New Ideas. But I think Customer Feedback is Directly Important for them to Build Up their service. I was Mitsubishi Lancer Fan, But I have lost in faith with Mitsubishi Because of its unintresting models and the Local Agent. The previous MD was really good and turned Mitsubishi to what its today. But with the New Management they have again lost focus on what they want to do. Customer service is really not that good anymore. Go for mazda. They have some real good cars.....

good advertising for the company who did the armour plating. i think this is the first time those bmws were tested against a LTTE bomb. but what i thought was, why coudnt the driver still continue with the driving. Because i have seen that any Driver who is well trained should be able to drive a car if its operational at last 500-700 yards away from the Danger Zone. Because any person who gets out from that car can be prone to any Sniper Attack !!!
  15. Yes, they gave a real good price for Two of My Vehicales. Also they are very proffesional. The Office is at Merchant Tower Near Liberty Plaza Insure with SLIC / Hayleys AIG / Asian Alliance some of the company's which have i have used had no problems. You see most of the insurance companies sales reps are real suckers. They just will come behind you and some how get the insurance done, but when a accident happens they turn a blind eye, beware of them, Smarter the Sales Rep with Bogus Accents you will find them as crooks. They will talk smart but when you have a accident. Ah Sir That was not covered, this was not covered. They will speak all the bullshit crap. Also chaps always have the Terrorism cover these days. With Todays accident i hope everyone over there was ok and their cars were insured to the full..... damn i saw that Jag near the burning corrolla. hope everyone was ok. by the way if you have no claim bonus for this year and changing the insurance company always show them the Invoice of the Current Company, so they will reduce that amount as well as beat the price of that,
  16. SL I******* or HAYLEYS AIG Hayleys AIG does not advertise but they are very good, There policy is To ask many questions before Insuring and No questions Asked when a Claim Arises. Dont Insure it with the Crap Insurance Companies who support Terrorists...... LOL
  17. HAPPY BDAY
  18. Wow amazing. Dont know how much Tax He Paid for that.... http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/am_db9.asp I am guessing that he would be paying a Insurance of around 2 million a Year Is this the most expensive car in SL yet. I guess so. http://www.fastreact.co.uk/news/press_07.php ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The future of Aston Martin is epitomised by the all-new DB9, a 2 sports car that sets new standards in its class due to its astonishing combination of agility, V12 power, smoothness, beautiful design and hand craftsmanship. Using a radical new aluminum-bonded body frame, the DB9 is one of the most sophisticated and technically advanced sports cars in the world. It is powered by the latest version of Aston Martin's 6.0-litre V12, producing 450bhp and a top speed of 186mph. Yet the DB9 is significant well beyond being a class-leading sports car. It is the beginning of a new era for Aston Martin. It is the first car to be hand-made at Aston Martin's new state-of-the-art facility in Gaydon, Warwickshire, where all future Aston Martin models will be developed and built. All body panels are either aluminum or lightweight composites with magnesium being used on the steering column and inner door frames. Even the gear selector paddles are made from magnesium alloy. The total weight is 1710kgs, extremely light for a V12-powered prestige 2seater sports car with every imaginable luxury feature. This has a hugely beneficial effect on performance. Top speed of the manual is 186mph and 0-100 km/h (62mph) acceleration takes just 4.9 seconds. Other technologically radical features include a ZF 'drive-by-wire' six-speed automatic gearbox that dispenses with a traditional gear lever. Instead, the drive, park, neutral and reverse controls are selected by buttons. Touchtronic manual mode enables the driver to change gear using paddles mounted behind the steering wheel. The automatic gearchange has been tuned to provide the perfect balance between super-fast operation and comfortably smooth shifts. A conventional six-speed manual gearbox will also be offered. The agility of the car is boosted by the perfect 50:50 weight distribution. This has been achieved partly by putting the gearbox at the rear. A carbon fibre shaft, running in a cast aluminum tube, delivers torque from the engine to the gearbox. Handling is further improved by the light aluminum wishbone suspension and aluminum bodied dampers. The whole DB9 cabin is hand-finished in premium quality materials giving it a simple and functional feel. Aluminum is used in the interior, reflecting the most commonly used material in the structure and body. Even details such as the instrument dials are made from aluminum. Features include full leather Bridge of Weir upholstery of the highest quality and a state of the art music system specially developed for Aston Martin by British sound experts Linn. Sales of the model started in Spring 2004, replacing the DB7, the most successful Aston Martin in history.
  19. i know bro, But never knew that the Evo GSR was faster than the MR. LOL. Surely Tsuchiya is Driving that MR after couple of shots of SAKEI. No wonder he was all over the road. By the way If i am not mistaken the MR has Blistein Suspension Correct.
  20. WTF either Tsuchiya is driving like a DICK or evo MR is very bad in handling.
  21. nice pics bro, damn those women are !!!!
