  1. i know nothing about this engine setup. but at a glance this should be the breather pipe(hose).
  2. if some one has 8 million and if that person can compromise and go for a Premio over Mazda 6 just only because of resale value and the market, then the best option is compromise more and go for a micro geely MX 7 (used) and put rest 6+ million in a FD (3 months, interest added back to capital when renew). after 5 year FD will grow very close to 13 million. it is profitable even you had to discard the MX 7.
  3. what you are saying is , due to worn out piston rings when the vehicle was overnight parked, engine oil comes into combustion chamber and those accumulated oil can make white smoke in cold start (in the morning probably) and even make water coming out from the exhaust pipe. I can not understand, how is it possible? please elaborate more.
  4. then it it is fair to assume that key fobs are OK and the problem might be there in the controller module (in the car). But try to change the key fob battery first (at a glance it is not logical, but there can be a thin chance that both key fobs batteries are dying ). because i haven't heard any case that controller module malfunction. few more questions 1. push start? 2. button in the handle? 3. YOM ?
  5. 2004 Swift. you got 7-8 Kmpl in city and 12 kmpl outstation. i know few friends who use/used this car, what i can say is , the only problem is "your expectation" is high. you can get an idea from emission test result (how close the engine runs with optimum mixture), check HC value , CO value and Lambda.if these values are OK and still a vehicle fuel consumption is very low then probably there is mechanical loss which can not be solved by doing a engine tun-up (mechanical loss = low efficient power conversion of a component starts from pistons to wheels, ex: brake binding, gear box, crank bearings.... i mean anything ).
  6. is this behavior same for both key Fobs ?
  7. I have heard about "automatic traffic sign detection". i don't know whether this particular vehicle is equipped with that kind of feature.
  8. the root cause might be somewhere else, not the idle RPM. when the vehicle is stand still give a bit throttle and try to maintain a RPM like 1.1 K. still it will not blow cool air (best way to eliminate the cause you think). Two possibilities: 1. Compressor is weak.so it can do its job only at high RPM. 2. Condenser does its job only when there is counter wind flow, then probably Fans are nor working properly. If it is the first case , even if vehicle is stand still, if you throttle it to reach 3.0K RPM, it should start to blow cool air.
  9. So the problem is only there when you turn it from left end to center, when it reaches to center problem disappear even though you continue to turn it to right.
  10. since you are a Vezel user you know in and out of the vehicle. if it suits for your need then just go for a new vezel. if you really want to find vehicles which can be compared with Mazda 6, see this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-segment.
  11. I don't think this is a knock, what you experienced is a "jerk" when you release the gas pedal.anyway there is around 1 second time delay in between the "jerk" and your action. if this is the case, do a additional test. try to recreate the problem, but this time press the clutch completely and release the gas pedal and observe the RPM (it is obvious that you will not be able to feel the jerk because clutch pedal has been fully pressed, but observe the RPM ) . if there is no RPM fluctuation (it should start to decrease and settle) then the problem might be a mechanical issue (or there might not be a problem at all). one possibility is excessive load (ex: AC fully with a broken bearing, brake binding) , the other possibility is "wrong gear" which is normal and not a problem.there is a thin chance that problem is in the gearbox.
  12. probably the blown head gasket. how is the coolant/water level in the tank?
  13. two cars , 2010 mazda axela and 2000 mazda 323 (ZM) . This 323 has done 170K and i am using it for 10 years, still its its axel/joints/rack ends/arms has no symptoms of any abnormal sound or play. so its mechanically solid. That is why there was a hesitation to buy one of this sonata. I know it is not a fair comparison of long term reliability/durability of mechanical parts in between 2000 car and a 2011 car.
  14. It is a good car, AFAIK fuel economy is better than same year Accord. I don't know how to explain it , steering is not responsive (doesn't provide sufficient feedback to feel that you can handle it precisely ). My next comment might be unfair for Sonata because this might be normal for some well known reliable brands as well. Last 6 months i test drove three 2011/2012 Sonatas and 2 cars are very close to 50K ODO. but once these two cars are inspected there were 3-4 electrical problems per car (very minor , something like volume controller mounted in steering wheel doesn't work, rear power shutters doesn't work, history codes for ABS sensor failure ). Other than that some mechanical problems like rack ends (inner tie rods ) and tie rods are worn out. I believe this kind of problems might be normal for50K car (genuine mileage , Hyundai records available ). anyway i checked with Hyundai the parts availability and price , according to that this is a car that we can easily maintain. NOTE: I don't own a Sonta , this is fully based on the pre study i did. Sonata,Cerato, ford focus,Axela were in my list and i kept looking for a car in last few months.
  15. assume that you have a water tank and tank has a tiny leak which is proportional to tank capacity. and you have water pump to fill the tank to top up it. water tank = battery water pump = alternator more capacity = more leak = more work to fill up.
  16. This is not a bad idea, but to program the first key it will cost you more than 18500. but you can reuse that key programmer. Only risk i can see is future car models might not be supported by this programing unit (but still you can use it). actually key is not the one which is programmed. normally a car supports to add 3,4,5 smart keys. what this programming unit does is just add a new smart key to the car smart key unit.

    AC warning in Allion 260

This scan tool it self should support to get the error code.if this tool doesn't support then scan the vehicle with a proper tool that you can get the error code (example error code is P0533 – AC refrigerant pressure sensor high input )
  18. when this thread was started mazna motors was at Papiliyana. now it is at Atthidiya. simply in this thread Mazna motors has been referred as "Papiliyana place".

    Accelarator doesnt work

problem might be in APP sensor or in the actuator. but in both cases it should throw an error code (probably p2138 or p1122). did you do a scan?

    Mazda Axela

"Some"? . Princy asked about a particulate model ( Axela BL5FP ). all BL5FP you can see in SL are equipped with CVT gearbox.
  21. MV-5

    Mazda Axela

AFAIK it is a CVT box and it is tiptronic (it is a myth that CVT box can not have tiptronic) .
