the montero sport is better than the navara... and there is a whole lot of options you dont get for the permit version but its basically the same the same vehicle minus the options.. i doubt spare parts would be an issue.. as there are already guys bringing down spares and accessories for the motero sport... seen many ads on hitads.. p.s. if it was my choice i would gofor the fully loaded sorento on the permit.. most value for money..

who ever has been on the highway says its really good... more than what they had expected.. however dogs crossing the road seems to a common complain..

totally agree with supra... plus the distance wasn't sufficient for the gtr's to stretch its legs... plus what i heard was that both cars didnt use launch control as there have been many cases where the pre 2010/11 models have damaged the gear box by excessive use of launch control... according to nissan they have sorted this problem out in the 2012 version...

if you are visiting srilanka as stated.. you should extend your stay by a few days as there are official drag races taking place on the 5th of november.. you will definitely be able to understand the local scene there.. currently all performance workshops are full for the races..

apparently from what i heard was that this is offered to allow older cars to travel on the southern expressway.. as only english numbers are allowed to... i dont know how far its true.. correct me if im wrong..

if power is what your looking for there is a version of the w123 with a 3litre 5 cylinder turbo diesel.. its the same engine as the 300d wiith a turbo.. very common on the w126 range but i have seen a few 123's with this engine but were both automatic tho.. p.s. i am looking for a w126 diesel.. prefer the SEL(which is six inches longer than the SE).. if you know of any such car pls pm me,, thanx

its a super car.. you should go for it... just make sure tokeep an eye out for rust, speciallycheck under the carpets, if there is moisture your in for trouble ... ive not driven a 200d but personally owned a 300d for over 10years.. it had more than enought power even with a full load and still returned 12+ on a litre... i doubt that there will be much of a price difference between the 200 n 300.. the car you saw was an original diesel or a convert... its pretty much the same but if the conversion has not been done properly you will have eternal issues and not to mention crazy vibration at idle..

was not interested in the drags but saw a red mr2 smashed beyond recognition around 4 in the morning on ward place on my way home.. car was in really bad shape.. hope the driver isok..
