I would say old school and easy to live with. It's an old platform. Many economy cars of that era didn't had it.
-
It doesnt. At least A15 doesn't.

One reason is when you stop in the middle of the hill and apply brakes, CVT would put the transmission in neutral. When you press the accelerator there's a delay to shift back into D and the car rolls back. Solution is to use hand brake. For small inclines this is not necessary but for steep ones I always use hand brake if i have to stop and go. Feature such as hill hold would overcome this.

To be honest I don't feel this problem 9/10 times in my car. Neither did in my previous Vitz given that I regularly travel up country. What I do feel is something similar to a kick down in a regular automatic if accelerator is pressed hard.
-
Somewhat normal and usually gets noticeable when shocks and mounts wear out with use. Gentle accelerator inputs usually masks this behavior.

Thanks for the explanation. Also saw that it has some good options for this segment like electric tail gate with foot activated control, electric seats, terrain select for AWD model etc.(Probably only available for the highest Z grade)

Yeah. They are specifically made for TNGA models it seems. I wish it was a 4 cylinder though.

According to current tax scheme it would cost like 9M if imported? I read the gasoline engine is M15A-FKS. Is that a totally new engine?

Paid 68K for 5M cover @ SLIC last month.

Wasn't 240 1800cc came with cvt? Or is it just 2000cc one?
-
I'm curious too. Quite a feat actually.

Looks like some older type engine. Saw a guy asking for this possibility in a FB group months ago. Never though someone would actually do it.

Saw similar posts in the FB group as well and one page related to a automotive garage posted that they have "fixed" the problem of rough idle and engine misfire on a 2017 C-HR. Apparently they had replaced the injectors but not sure whether those are meant for this car.

Car AC automatically off when speedup 80kmph or above
hrm replied to hatharasinghe's question in General
That's an insane amount but at least it would be a genuine fix. Note that even if you replace it with a brand new genuine compressor still it's not a permanent thing to solve. Due to the nature of how these units are designed and operate you might be able to run for another 50-60K KMs with it. Also you can find brand new compressors for 50-75K from outside shops but I'm not sure whether they are actual made in Japan Denso units. Could be Taiwan/Thailand or somewhere similar. Reconditioned ones can be found around 20-30K. Also don't go for 121 compressors as many AC guys might suggest. -
Car AC automatically off when speedup 80kmph or above
hrm replied to hatharasinghe's question in General
Could be the infamous AC issue in Allion/Premios. Was the sensor replaced is the compressor solenoid valve? If this doesn't solve the problem the only solution is compressor replacement. Does the AC work normally in city driving speeds? Either way get it checked with a good AC mechanic. -
Looking To buy an Allion 260 - Need Your Help
hrm replied to TaylorMade's question in Car Buying Information
Two things to look at specific to Allion/Premio. Cvt maintenance history and AC compressor (probably replaced by now). Please search the forum about above points. Obviously you have to pay attention to maintenance, car overall condition and ownership details etc as in buying any other used car. Also finding a good specimen is especially hard for these cars so be patient and don't fall for shiny bits and sale bayyas. -

I don't think you have any problem here as the needle is little less than 2.5 mark. Let's see whether any other member has a different view.

Isn't it little less than middle?
-
It does look like a good one. I'm also looking to replace all 4 shocks but I'm bit biased for a softer ride.

How much are they? Both front and rear?
