Carb is a lot less complicated but EFi is much more fuel efficient. I guess it really doesnt matter much if the car is a minter.

Iv had many and serviced many too in my shop. These are wonderful vehicles. Shares the same chassis as the Pajero and the engines comes in 2.5 (4D56 Turbo) and 2.8 (4M40). Both are just awesome. Ride is only bumpy if you have stupid sized wheels. I suggest got for it with out any hesitation. Iv seen plenty of body parts for them around including nose cuts etc.

Try the Vijerama strip. I have seen a few bits for this model but never a bonnet. I am sure its stacked up somewhere inside tho. Best is to look around. I have also seen a parts shop in Wattala area near toyota lanka that specialize in this model. Once I drove along the whole strip from wattala to Ja ela looking for a Rear wiper cover and saw in many shops that hold parts for this model. Hope the info will help you on getting what you want.

De Silva in Nugegoda (Purwarama Road) check spelling also provides a car check facility. They can check the condition, do a scan test, and do a full visual paint check etc which can be valuable. Also if u ask De Silva for a real resale price they will tell u how much the exact market value would be. You have to specifically tell them ur the buyer and ask what the real selling price would be. Also as Jdnet said u can look around and see what they sell for. Do both.

How about a nice mazda sedan or a Laser sedan? they are quite nice. Some really well looked after lasers around.

Fair enough. Its just that iv seen a couple of them with red seat belts. Wonder how they got on it. I love your project and i always check on this thread to see the finished paint job. Nice work bro.

When the engine starts to run smooth the gear shift issue will be sorted. You might later on do a nice service to improve things. First get the engine sorted. -

Just drain using the nut and replace with manual transmission oil. Very very simple From the top of my mind i think the viscosity is 80 or 90.

If you really want to look after your vehicle and get maximum mileage then i recommend you to change the filter at 5,000kms too

Yes when you change oil on a Diesel the oil turns black almost immediately. There is nothing to worry about there. Well you should change the oil filter too at the same time as the oil change. There is no point in changing oil if your going to run the oil through the same dirty filter. So everytime you change the oil also ask them to change the filter.

This is the mileage it normally gives. There is nothing wrong with your car. Do a good service and drive sensible and hope to get may be another 1 km. I had the same model and this was the reading i got too. Good luck
