Axia is a newly introduced perodua model. However earlier Viva has won some reputation here and has reasonable resale value.

If the clutch and idle-up switch working properly,the reason may be that your compressor is unable to give enough compression at low RPM. If so no remedy other than replacing.
Congrats on your first car.. If you like to use it as a daily runner get done a complete brake overhaul. Remember you have to drive among the vehicles with much more powerful brakes. If it is not fitted with a booster get it modified with a matching booster. That is what I did to my EP 71.
Exactly .. Once I was compelled to park under a Neem tree overnight. The result was horrible. Had to do a 'cut & polish' to get rid of 'leaf patterns'. Anyway I'm not sure It because of the leaves alone or combined with the spray from the sea nearby.
There is a substance called cerium oxide. I got a sample from 3M and tried it on a scratched side glass. In fact it works, but you have to polish for hours to get a reasonable result.
Had similar problem once. It was due to the tightness of pivot on the outer linkage fixed to the gearbox. After cleaning and applying little grease it was over.
