Axia is a newly introduced perodua model. However earlier Viva has won some reputation here and has reasonable resale value. As what hrm said above is very correct. BTW I personally dont prefer underpowered 660 kei cars.

Maxxis is a good tyre of course and is not very expensive. In the past I have had many brands of tyres on my vehicles. But finally its Dunlop for me.

If the clutch and idle-up switch working properly,the reason may be that your compressor is unable to give enough compression at low RPM. If so no remedy other than replacing.

The gearbox is a "Magnetti Marelli". A kind of one on the Fiat Punto. But coupled with a Maruti only the god knows what will happen.

Congrats on your first car.. If you like to use it as a daily runner get done a complete brake overhaul. Remember you have to drive among the vehicles with much more powerful brakes. If it is not fitted with a booster get it modified with a matching booster. That is what I did to my EP 71.

Exactly .. Once I was compelled to park under a Neem tree overnight. The result was horrible. Had to do a 'cut & polish' to get rid of 'leaf patterns'. Anyway I'm not sure It because of the leaves alone or combined with the spray from the sea nearby.

One of my friends use a Jonway UFO. Though it looks like a Rav4, It is a machine from China fitted with a mitsubishi engine.

I assume the engine as 4D68. The same engine shares the Mit. diesels like Galant, Lancer, Chariot and RVR. I'm sure it will be availabale at watte.

There is a substance called cerium oxide. I got a sample from 3M and tried it on a scratched side glass. In fact it works, but you have to polish for hours to get a reasonable result.

Had similar problem once. It was due to the tightness of pivot on the outer linkage fixed to the gearbox. After cleaning and applying little grease it was over.
