    When a vehicle is transforming from COLD to HOT, how many KM's should it run in order to consider it in HOT State? and once it's hot how long does it have to be idle to consider it is gone back to COLD State?

      There are no definite answers to your questions. The operating temperature varies from engine to engine. The easiest form of reference is your temperature gauge.

      Also, you do not need to drive the car in order for it to reach the operating temp. An idling engine will reach operating temp eventually.

      Finally, the temp of an idling engine is unlikely to go down.
