  1. Sorry, repost.
  2. Yes, you are right. 3-stage vtec was introduced in the D15B found in the EK series (Vi and ViRS) and is not available in EG Civics. So the number of solenoids wont be a unique identifier.
  3. Assuming that the VTi is powered by a D15B, it should have 2 vtec solenoids. You can check the number of solenoids as well to identify the models.

    Octane You Use??

I guess the car in Arc's signature might give a hint... Coming back to the topic, like most who have replied to this thread, I also use a mix of 90 and 95 depending on my savings level. I'm not too sure whether the octane rating has as big an effect on NA vehicles as it does on vehicles with forced induction. But there is a 'smoothness' across the rev range when running on 95.
  5. As per Live at 55 on Yes FM (9am yesterday). Sorry, no fancy sources. Even so, do you think we have the necessary manufacturing capabilities to adhere to the above?

  7. 1600cc for petrol and 2000cc for diesel locally assembled vehicles. Also heard that 30% of the parts that go into the vehicle have to be manufactured locally. Or something to that effect.
  8. Noticed something interesting and rather funny while at the car show: fake web addresses which were strewn all over cars, banners and other promotional material. What do they hope to gain out of it? Do they not realize that they loose face and credibility by doing so? I suppose they want to appear 'sophisticated'...
  9. Encountered a different permutation a few weeks back, on Baseline Road at the turnoff towards Vanathamulla.

  11. Any speculations as to how the shuttle service will function? And whether they are arranging space & security for parking outside the high security zone?
  12. What do you mean by custom wheels? If you mean wheel fabrication, I doubt you will be able to get it done here. If however you mean wheel painting and other cosmetic customizations, most wheel shops in Dehiwala & Delkanda should be able to help you out.
