Yes, you are right. 3-stage vtec was introduced in the D15B found in the EK series (Vi and ViRS) and is not available in EG Civics. So the number of solenoids wont be a unique identifier.

Assuming that the VTi is powered by a D15B, it should have 2 vtec solenoids. You can check the number of solenoids as well to identify the models.

I guess the car in Arc's signature might give a hint... Coming back to the topic, like most who have replied to this thread, I also use a mix of 90 and 95 depending on my savings level. I'm not too sure whether the octane rating has as big an effect on NA vehicles as it does on vehicles with forced induction. But there is a 'smoothness' across the rev range when running on 95.

What do you mean by custom wheels? If you mean wheel fabrication, I doubt you will be able to get it done here. If however you mean wheel painting and other cosmetic customizations, most wheel shops in Dehiwala & Delkanda should be able to help you out.
