I don't know about whether its the best car for this price range, but the the Wagon R [2007 model] is a brilliant little car, compared to other maruti suzuki's i'v driven. My parents got one brand new in 2007 as a city run-about [ignoring my howls of protests] and I was more than pleasantly surprised. It was brilliant on fuel, not too slow, and fantastically easy to drive around town. tons of headspace, maybe a bit too narrow, and the tall seating seating arrangement wasn't bad either. Parents still have it, no mechanical problems or quality issues to date....although i'm not sure you would find a 2008 model for less than 1.3 mill

What's the best car i cud go 4 in this range. I prefer a newer 1. Is Suzuki Wagon R(2008) a gud choice.

If you are going for an Indian car.You could buy an Alto K10 if you stretch your budget little bit more.I think its around 1.35m. Its equipped with a 1000cc K series engine which develops 68bhp and it would be fast and fun to drive :)

But still if you are tall you would find the interior cramped.So in that case you would have to go for a Wagon R

There are plenty of good Japanese used cars in this range. Go for any of those without going for Alto or WagonR.

AE 100 SE Limited, Gold batch, White light car - try & find one. if you can find one to ur budget you r so lucky, Gud luck.

Unless A*W brings in the fully loaded Maruti Wagon-R (with Air bags and ABS). unlike the previous model which was based on 1998 Suzuki WagonR, the new model is based on 2008 Suzuki WagonR. That version is almost as same as its Japanese sibling, when it comes to safety.

Anyway it's way beyond Rizny's budget.

I saw the new Wagon-R. It looks pleasant. Yup its beyond his budget :)
