Can anyone tell me how to identify Honda D15B Exi and Others?I searched the forum but couldnt find relevant topics.

D15B came with carb/EFi and VTEC variants

I think you are Referring to the engine found in EK3 Exi. Its a Non Vtec EFI engine.The VTEC solenoids are not present in it

check both of attachments. one with the solonoids are comes with vtec engines. (pic which shows solonoid) and other pic is exi engine. i think im correct. plz correct it if its wrong.

apart from the selonoids, the ek3 vtec version ahs the air filter at the corner of the engine bay and the non vtec version has the air filter on top of the throttle.
