Anybody have or know any websites where I could check prices of new and used cars in SL?

The only one I know is autolanka.com.

If I imported a car, what taxes are applied? For eg if I import a car that costs 30,000 $ what would I end up paying on the whole run? Would it be better buying a car in SL through a dealer?

the taxes depend on a lot of criteria like engine displacements to the options you have in the car. it's not easy to calculate the taxes just on the cost of the car...

The $30,000 car pictured below costs between 9.5 and 10 million here.
