considering the performance, comfort, fuel economy and features.......well im not talking about the new montero and the new prado...

To better answer your question, forum members need more specific information. Your question seems quite vague.

A Prado can be from 1996-2010 while a Montero can range from 1998-2010. The only thing I can get out of your question is your not looking at any of the newer ones.

Diesel or Petrol your looking for? How much are you willing to spend? Any particular year or model your interested in? With such information people who own or owned these types of vehicles will be better able to send some info your way.

If the search is a for a petrol there are plenty in the market, but a diesel is a totally different ballgame altogether which takes patience, tolerance and money. Could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to find the right one, diesel that is. Talking with experience.

There is a previous thread that went about on Menteros, do a search and that should give you plenty of info.

Edit: Dude quit opening lame threads. You could have posted all your question related to monteros and prados in the same thread. Spamming with threads will only get you nothing.
