coolcar
TOYOTA has launched its third-generation Yaris in Japan three days before Christmas, but the bigger, edgier and more fuel efficient . As Toyota announced the fitment of its ‘Smart Stop’ idle-stop system in a 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol model with front-wheel drive in Japan (where all-wheel models are also available) will reduce fuel consumption to a headline-grabbing 21.8 kilometres per litre . Toyota says that will make the new Vitz the most fuel-efficient new vehicle in Japan, excluding mini (Kei) cars and hybrid models like the Prius. kush
Hi You cannot go those km/l figures, they are based on Japaneese official figures may be on test environment. In SL it will be totally diffrent for instance my Suzuki Swift ZC71S 1.2 CVT which is suppose to do over 20 km/l according the official Jap web site. I get only 9-10 km/l in city running. One lady in my office who takes the same route only get 10-11 km/l on her 2008 Vitz 1.0 CVT.
