still i have default tyre.

Tell me how much it will cost to upgrade this. and where to buy good alloy.

Thanks...

13" or 12" ?

Brand new ones would cost between 25K-30K.The used ones cost about 12k-15k. Try Amila tyre house and JJ wheels.

doesn't A*W give alloy wheels as an option to the alto, i have seen the maruti and alto with orignal alloy wheels, the US wheels in col-2 has them for 26000 brand new for 12"

They are called Dish alloys :). Using them without having wheel arches will be quite messy. Specially in rainy days as it splashes mud all over also small stones get thrown towards the doors due to these wheels. Its better to buy alloys having the manufacturer specified offset :)

Hi all,

Finally decided to get set of alloys and new set of tyres to my alto. Stock indian tyers done 32K km and very little amount of tread remaining.

Original tyers are 145/80R12 and 12" 4B rims.

Got quote of 24K for http://www.alloywheels.lk/index.php?option=com_jshopping&controller=product&task=view&category_id=8&product_id=33&Itemid=103 and 165/70R12 dunlop for 7.2K each. Had to increase tyre width because 145 tyre is too small for 5" width alloy wheels.

Also there are chinese wheels available for around 17K and chinese tyre brand called federal for 5.75K each.

Does additional cost of getting branded wheels and dunlops is worth or is it ok to stick to chinese things?

Thanks,

Miyuru
