1- Between 90 000-100 000 kms. To be on the safe side change it at about 90 000 kms.

2- Exi is the non Vtec JDM model. VTi is the Vtec model. :)

Couple of years back I did a timing belt replacement of my corolla from Alawatta Associates, Battaramulla. They did that well, but I can't remember the cost.

What are the main differences of VTEC & JDM pls

V-Tec is the ENGINE and JDM stands for JAPANESE DOMESTIC MODEL. V-tec and JDM has nothing to do with each other. V-tec is the engine that comes with Vti and Vi/RS and JDM is the model which is put out to the Japanese market as brand new. Even here we find JDM hondas but they have been imported as recon.

wrong! exi is the basic export version to asia without vtec.

vti is the JDM equivalent exported to singapore.

yes. since yours is es1, its the jdm vtec version.

Not correct. All the JDM s are not Vt. I had 2004 ferio es1 (jdm) and non vtec.

90000 km is high time to change your timing and alternator belt.

I got my one changed about 1 1/2 years a go at the agent and cost was some where around 12000 Rs. (belt and the tension bearing = 10000 rs and workman = 2000 rs )

1.What should be the fuel consumption of Civic ES-1 -2003 in Colombo and Outstation?

2. Let me have a user manual of Civic ES-1 -2003

Thanks,
