4Dr5 - Recommend Engine Oil

What is the suitable engine oil for a 4dr5 engine

Lanka DS40 or Mobil 1340, cz one of my friend recently pointed out about the oil changing duration difference (3000km vs 6000km),

and would this oil be ok with this old engine?

I usually go with Lanka DS40 (lose) for old diesel motors and change the filter and oil in every 3000km. Proven and cost effective than using an expensive oil and changing in 5000km intervals.

4DR5s will even run with olive oil...proven durability.
