Hi All

My FB15's brake lights not off even when the car stop. No other way to off the light without removing the battery cable.

Could any one kindly give me a clue on this issue.

There is a brake light on/off switch connected to the of the brake pedal. Originally this comes with a plastic connector. Usually when this plastic connector get damaged, the brake lights stays in on position. You can replace it with a simple bolt. Any auto electrician can do it ( Also if you are confident this is a DIY work)

Seems like something wrong with the break light switch, this is usually located under the dash, near the top of the brake pedal. it’s should attached to a small bracket that holds the switch, If u managed to find the switch, check to make sure that the brake light switch's electrical connection is firmly attached and that all of the wires connecting to the brake light switch are in good condition..this happenes to my lancer sometime back n i had to replace the switch...good luck mate! ;)

Same thing happened to my friends FB15. Check your break pedal, there should be small switch connected to pedal. If that is broken this can happen.

Its a small rubber or plastc piece which has been damaged. It could be replaced with a steel nail or bolt. this is located top of the brake pedal. An electrician would be able to do it!
