Recently i bought a Townace CR27 DIESEL..

Now the problem is Engine Acceleration(RPM) is high,While i drive even 5th gear i feel the van is running in 3rd gear..

i thing if i tune up the engine and the injector will solve the problem..

which is best place to tuneup the engine,injector...

what is the engine type it is a 2C or 3C are your engine is turbo charge? are you recently done a service and change air and diesel filters?.

Do you feel as if the rpm is high or actually is it high ? Coz there's a difference in both.

If you just feel a loud vibration and sound then I suspect it to be engine mounts and/ or universal joints in prop shaft.

If actually the rpm is high even in a higher gear, then that has to be only through a slipping clutch.

According to what I've heard,Toyota 2c turbo engine(molli engine) wears up before the normal engine(non turbo engine). Can you tell me the millage on your clock? Does it burn engine oil? Do you see an excessive amount of carbon coming out of your exhaust pipe?

as harshansenadhir pointed out i too think it has some thing to do with your clutch btw this happen when the ac is on or off?

the op said it is a 2C molli engine not a turbocharged one and molli engine wears up before the normal engine? the difference between 2C engine and 2C molli engine is the brake clutch comes on top of the engine in 2C molli engine other than that both of them are same.
