Umm I'm not underestimating anything. I am fully aware of all of its capabilities. My point is that it's not designed to be a serious off-road vehicle. I'm sure you can take it off-roading if you want and it's designed to handle easy trails, but the fact is it's not designed to recieve the kind of abuse a "serious off-roader" will give it. You see Kyrons with big tires and lifts on our roads, do you think they are good for driving through even moderately hard trails? Any vehicle can be taken off-roading, the problem is that few can overcome the obstacles and consant abuse of a trail. I take it based on your statements, you have never driven on a trail. I think you should atleast go speak to some people who know about off-roading befor eyou offer your opinions on what a good off-road vehicle is.

Any retard with half a brain should be able to tell you why a crossover is not a good vehicle for a "serious offroader." Let me put this into terms that someone with the mental capacity of a two-year-old can decipher;

Crossover: looks like a SUV, acts(rides) like a car.

You do know why you wouldn't want the same handling you would in a car when you are on the trails right?

The fact is that you were completely wrong when you stated that a 4WD sorento is a good SUV for a "serious off-road guy."
