If I were you, I would consider buying a new keyboard before thinking about a BMW. Seems like your Caps Lock button is broken.

depends on what model you are talking about. I'll presume is the e46 (1999 - 2005) 3 series.

The older pre facelift does about 10 - 11 in the city

The facelift common rail diesel (late 2002/early 2003 onwards) does about 13 - 14.

But these clearly depend on driving habit. You cant be frugal when driving a bimmer. It kinda ruins the purpose.

its a BMW man.....jus drive it for pleasure

in top of all that it's a diesel. :)

It should not be too bad, because it is diesel you are looking at about 6 to 7 litres per 100k. I am using 318i (petrol) consumption is just like other normal cars. Don't panic, they are great cara.

If you are looking for performance and driving pleasure, go for it! If you are thinking of fuel figures and maintenance costs, you might as well look for a petrol car! A bit higher on fuel, much better on maintenance in comparison to a 320d.
