i have used normal power steering oil for my car(FB 13).but someone told me that it z not better to use normal power steering oil and there is a specific type for cars.is that true? [since this is my 1st car pls help me ]

if i remember correctly power steering oil should use on fb13 are dexron III(please correct me if i'm wrong fellas) the dexron levels are on the top of the power steering fluid filler cap it doesn't matter the which brand it is it could be mobil shell or caltex oil just use right dexron level oil and you be fine

there is a no specific type of power steering oil for cars as i said earlier use right dexron level oil dude.

Just stumbled-upon this thread, wanted to add my findings too, according to the 1994 Nissan Sentra manual ( The closest I could find for my FB13 ) recommends Dexron II for the power steering fluid
