Remote Key Repair

Guys,

need a favor, original remote key which came with my chevy cruze 2004 doesnt work. i replaced the battery of the remote unit thinking it would work but didn't. anyone know a person or a place who could trouble shoot the unit?

Well there isn't a way to actually "fix" a dead remote. It would need to be replaced and reprogrammed. Basically you should be able to find the remote online and have the agent program it. On makes such as mazda it's a DIY job where you put the key into the ignition an cycle it. Not sure about the chevy though. If the components are the same as suzuki, I'm sure A*W might be able to help you out since their service is better than the agent for chevrolet. Eitherway if you can please post up a picture of your remote here it would help us find a place online where you can get it from.
