Transfering A Vehicle

hey guys i need a big help from u..i wanna know that when we gonna transfer a vehicle.is that previous owners ID copy is compulsory for transferring documents?because unfortunately i have lost that :-(

Not compulsory. Completed MT 6 and MT 8 forms are sufficient with your (new owner) ID card copy and 2 certified photographs. Also you have to produce previous registration copy of the vehicle, VIC if available and Revenue licence.

The VIC is needed if not a police report should be given saying its lost, even then they will not transfer under the same day service, and you will have to do it the normal way.
