Depends on the Tyre, road conditions, vehicle, driving style.

Your mileage seems reasonable under average conditions.

Well nothing lasts forever, even if you dont use the tyre with time the rubber compound can break down after few years.

I think 40 to 50 k is a good number if you drive carefully, and also if you do the balancing and alignment regularly. Now you get many cheaper tyres and most of them are almost equivalent to the big brands.

i used 185/70 R14 Donlop indunesia for my car. it did around 40,000 km. now using Goodyear 165/80 R14 for my CR41. now it has run almost 20,000km but it is just like brand new so far.
