Agent's Vs Others - Fog Lights

Hiran_j

Question

I recently looked for Suzuki Swift 2008 Japanese Fog Lights and got the following prices.

A*W (Agent's) - Original Japanese 27,300/-

Indian Compatible 12,000/-

+ 3800/- Labor

Un*que Lanka - China 9000/- (For the unit + Labor)

It seems that the second option is cheaper. But, I have heard that if Fog Lights are fixed non-professionally; it may cause problems with the car's electrical system.

Thus, what would be the best option or has any of you experience with Fog Lamps fixed by Merchants other than Agents ?

Thanks.

You have another option which is look around Delkanda to find a second hand ( used) Jap fog lamps imported from Japan. In most cases these lights are very good and cannot see a big difference after its fixed. It will depend on your luck to find a good pair, but since its a swift there should be plenty.

Chinese stuff may discolor fast, but these are very cheap and Rs 9,000/= seems a big amount for Chinese ones, unless it with the complete housing, switch etc... Fixing should not be too complicated.
