Toyota Undercarriage Cover Vibration

Question

Posted

Hi,

The undercarriage cover of my Toyota belta is vibrating when going over uneven roads. Appreciate if an expert can help me on;

1. Is it important to have the undercarriage cover

2. Is there any good place i can get it tighten up/ fixed.

Seems like Toyota have not concentrated on making it more harder to survive rough roads.

Thanks

since it's a belta, I assume this is a JDM version, which is not tropicalized and not made to hard terrains like India, Sri Lanka and African continent.

Therefore, the undercarriage cover must be of a plastic one.

However, tightning this should be either a DIY or ordinary mechanic's job, if you're so sure it's the undercarriage cover/guard which gives the rattle sound.

Yes, It's important to have the undercarriage cover, it protects the componenets from the road dust, tar and specially rocks :)

and as Harshan has mentioned this should be an easy DIY job if you have the usual tools :)
