Hyhundai Accent

i'm looking for a hyhundai accent car & there is 2 types based on engine capacity,

1.3 cc

1.5 cc

can someone give me the better comparison between these 2 types?? including perfomance & fuel consumption

Ok Then i'll start like this.i have only little experince on hyundai vehicles.

Just my 2 cents.

one of my friends got a Hyundai accent 1.3 one with KC # Yom 2003 i guess. it has done around 33K on ODO when we got it.Manual gear ac/ps/ Power shutters on front doors,power anternna.it's a lift back model with rear wiper.when we got it feel the pulling power is very low & did a EFI tune up. changed the spark plugs & etc with branded ones. after it was nice. good on acceleration,pick up good, fuel consumption around 12-14 with a\c. after that didnt do any repeair now the odo is around 42K. few days back had to chnaged the clutch plate & pressure plates.i guess this is due to the place which his garage placed. 1300cc engine is not enough for that plc.anw thats a short story about 1.3cc accent.

my personal feeling yes it's a good car good on fuel good interior avarage comfortable if you can find a well maintained one.

OT but the moment a "friend" sells me a 2003 car with 33 thousand kilometers I would stop calling him a friend.

SO bank managers are salt of the earth? trust worthy? Honest to God individuals? How is being a Bank Manager make him a person who will not cheat you?

and clutch and pressure plate was changed at 33K and you still think he is your friend?

Easily that car must have done more than 100K, he would have got it adjusted and sold it to you.

Come on you seriously believe the ODO reading is correct ?

The car was made in 2003 and probably was imported brand new here. Just do the math, an average person would drive around 600km a month, that means the car was only used for 55 months or about 5 years !

Does that sound right to you ?

We don't know when he got it. It might have been ages ago. Might have run a lot more by now, or whenever the clutch gave up.

These assumptions lead to too many misunderstandings. Insufficient data for solid conclusions.

@ The Stig no machang never keep trust on odo readings.may be he has done some adjustments before sell it but gave a A-Z service records book.car was excellent in condition & friend fall love with it.

btw i just mentioned those details
