Total Tax before Increase - 51%

Total tax after - 60%

It should be lesser amount than 0.9M isn't ?

You're 100% right Pericles. Yesterday I roam within famous traders in kandy and negambo. All I notice is one thing, they don't like to sell their cars until market value steady up to new price. Some of them had new shipment in clearence and some are in open LC. So they tring to do is mixup early shipments with new one and collaborate all to new price plan. So simply saying it like when petrol prices goes up shed's saying "NATHA" board on pumps to safe fuel for next day with new price.

as much as i hate those 3 wheel chaps we as a country cannot afford to ban them as they are the average mans taxi

what the Govt should do is monitor those 3 wheel chaps and be strict on road rules but then hey if that happens the sun will rise up in the west ;-)

Some numbers does not add up..... but assuming these numbers are correct, the Insight Hybrid increase is lesser than the Alto ! ....... we might see a whole lot of Toyota Aquas in Sri Lanka by the looks of it.
