Viva Elite Seat Covers

Hello Guys,

please let me know the best cushion working place in colombo or gampaha area.

I want to find a good place to dress seat covers & floor board carpet for my viva elite car on reasonable price.

what about your experiene about readymate seatcovers (already available in market)

I am looking for your valuable ideas.

Never get those readymade ones, had a set and they peeled off within a few months

• my opinion is for the floor board if you have the original carpets put some ( panu carpets) nylon carpets on that & do clean them atleast one in a fortnight. Try to keep them original.

There is a nice place for custom made carpeting and for seat covers. This is very small place but gives very quality service.

In last May I have got carpeting and seat covers for my Viva Elite at Rs.12,500/= (material and labour cost). You can suggest your design, material and colours.

Only thing is you have to spend some time there as this is a small place and only 3 people work there.

He he i thought you people are know about that nick name Those are the carpets which available @ Arpi..o showrooms blue black & red colur with nylon threds. 1M 400/- rupees. i'll add a image 2moro.

There is a nice place to buy seat cover materials and carpet material, near base line overhead bridge. You may go there with Mr.Ajith and you select the material and the design.

You can select good materials from there. I kept the design same as original for front seats and for rear seat I give him a design middle ash with black corners. It gives better look than original seat design. You may see attached photos. I also got a cover for rear parcel tray and for rear door panel (from carpet material) which is a metal panel in Viva Elite. These two parts are also inclusive to your price. Please see my below post with photos.

But, I have no any idea to select seat cover materials & carpet materials.

If I go with Mr. Ajith, will he help honestly? B'cos I have no any idea about material quality.

Mr.Ajith will help you honestly. Tell him my name and remind him that I got his service for 2 viva elites in my family.

I am also not a specialist on seat covers and carpets. Only general knowledge works here Dude. You tell him your requirement. Then he will do the job. Additional work like rear door panel cover are my suggestions.

I founf this place from week end paper. From pictures they had added their work seems good. But i don't have personal expirence. Why don't you call them and see. This place is near dematagoda.

Sampath, I'm going to take your recommendation and forward it to my dad. He's looking to get a set of seatcovers done for the W123. I'm guessing based on the bigger seats and inflation over time it will cost more than Rs.13000/= now..

Already 2 years passed Machan. You just show him the vehicle. Then you can go to seat cover importing shop near Baseline Flyover with him. You can select the material as you wish. And describe the design you want. Then Ajith will do that. It is better if you can stay with the vehicle. If not let him to keep seats with him except driver's seat. Ajith is a very reliable person but can't believe people in that area. If you need my personal help, please do contact me.I will call him personally that you come due to my contact. I have PM my mobile number. I was much care on not only the material but also the colour of the threads use for. So finally ended up with a good neat job at reasonable price.

On a slightly OT note:

I remember seeing your recommendation about this place so I jsut googled "site:autolanka.com seat covers" and came across a wealth of information. I was looking for yours in particular so added "sampath" to the search and found you with such ease. Why or why can't all our guys simply maintain one thread on the same line of question rather than think that they were the first people ever on Autolanka to have thier very same question/problem. New threads with repetitive questions only makes subsequent searches even more cluttered.
