Misfire Problem

Hey Guys ,

i have a small problem, car starts misfire suddenly (not very often, once in awhile) but after I restart the car , its gone

is anyone else encounter this kind of a problem ,

car is 2005 proton savvy manual

I had that problem till I changed the fuel filter last week. It's a good place to start if you have never changed it.

fuel filter change not even 5 months , spark plugs changed ,

did a scan from the company ECU didnt have any error codes , company says that the problem haven't recorded in the ECU

Hows is your T Belt?

T belt changed not done even 10,000kms with it yet ,

problem is jerking come very suddenly and once i restart the car its gone...runs fine

I also had a similar issue; an intermittent misfiring occurring specially when driving at high speeds. Changed fuel & air filters and cleaned the plugs; the problem solved.

Check ur leads or if this car comes with coil packs u may have a coil pack on its way. What kind of an engine does this have?

coil pack and plug wires are also recently changed, it has a DF4 1.2 Renault engine.

petrol filter is also changed recently , gonna change the air filter also
