Today I was try to drive my car on hill around 45 degree angle, (on a 45 degree incline slop ) in middle I stopped and I try to use hand break for avoid rolling back. 0 harshansenadhir Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 I assume it's time for you to replace rear brake liners. in this model the handbrake would be automatically adjust each and every time you apply handbrakes. only instance it cannot adjust properly is due to worn out brake liners or some issue in this auto adjusting mechanism. 0 Ripper Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 As harshan said, first check your brake liners...if they are good...check the self adjsuter mechanism... if all those checks out...chances are the cable has reached it's time. since these are large cables, it tend to flare out and still work... the tension will be less, adjustment would go for a toss but it will still work Happened to me once.
