Mitsubishi Montero Engine Issue

I am currently experiencing an engine miss in my Montero. Could you please recommend an expert on these vehicles I could visit.

what year is your jeep? is it a gdi?

2001, GDI

i had a miss in my gdi and that was from the gdi pump malfunctioning

i took it to my garage and got it cleaned out and it's working fine.

GDI engines have one coil each for every spark plug. If one of those coils malfunctions then too the engine developes a miss and the pulling power is also reduced specially under load such as going up on an incline . I had the problem and changed the defective coil and it worked fine thereafter.
