civicferio
Hi All, I need your support to sort out following issue, My car is EK3 2000 model with auto transmission. I noticed that after driving about 30 min, lets say i want to accelerate further and when i press the pedal as usual RPM stays still ( not increase ) if i press further RPM goes up suddenly and car accelerates. This happens when RPM is within 1000-2000 as i remember. This happen most of the time but not always. Guys, can it be transmission issue? Thanks

Watchman
I think you're just experiencing kickdown... Google "Automatic transmission kickdown"... its a normal thing...not a fault..
