Honda Fit Aria - Fuel Consuption

I just bought a honda fit aria VTEC version. Last time, i full tank on petrol and run in colombo normal traffic until end of fuel. i maintain the RPM below 2. it does close to 8. (7.8) i wonder on this low fuel consuption. I heard lot on honda fit aria where it does 10-11 in traffic if it's a VTEC and 12-13 if it is iDSI. Already i changed the CVT oil and engine oil too. i checked the plugs and air filter too. all are fine. what could be the problem? is i need to do a engine tune up from a honda expert??

It seems unusual for that model... Any ways u should take it to an expert . Try honda Upul... Malabe..

Well if u are new to auto gears this is normal even if you maintain rpm below 2000. go though the forum you can fine lot of info on this. just check whther it's giving same numbers for a long run. btw when was the last EFI tune up?
