Toyota Hiace Oil Level Light Lights Up For No Reason.

Dinukap4

Question

Well our good old 1994 Hiace is having sort of a odd issue.. Whenever the Head lamps/Signal lights/ or the switch the Air con to the high flow range the Oil level low warning indicator on the cluster lights up for no apparent reason because the oil level is at the dot perfect this only happens when the following things are switched on other than that there is no issue

p.s- another thing is some times when the radio is on and the signal light or the head lamp is turned on the radio switches off sort of a power drop occurs ?

The power loss maybe attributed to a lose or corroded ground connection. The light coming out is possibly related to that. But like JD says check the oil pressure switch and then check the ground wires, clean them of oxide, clean the contact surface and reattach.
