Steering Rack Issue In Viva Elite

Hi Guys,

Maybe you guys who are using viva elites are well aware that this small car has a steering rack issue.

03 of my friends got their cars steering racks replaced( Mileages rnd 10k,38K and 30K) during the warranty period.( Normal cost to replace it from U*I*MO is around 80K)

So if you feel your steering wheel is not returining to its original position after driving through a bend, better to check this out.

If your car is under warranty,better to inform them about it ASAP!

Anyone heared about this issue before?

How to identify this problem. Other than the point u hv mentioned. Also is there any noice coming.

Yes i heard this matter one day when i went to Unimo there were 2 vehicles with Rack end problems

Its not the rack end. Its the whole steering rack.(Part of rack and pinion steering system).

No nise but the steering wheel returning back issue and sometimes steering turning might little bit hard.

I also had to replace the Rack under warranty...!!
