The Four Wheel Drive Club has tentatively put down the following event dates for the year.

19th February - FWDC 4x4 Challenge

17th April - The Nuwara Eliya 4x4 Lake Cross

9th July - FWDC 4x4 Jamboree

7th -10th Sep - 4x4 Challenge 2006

3rd December - Members Day

Please mark these days out in your calender, this year is going to quite interesting for people with the same faith in 4x4...

Any 4x4 trips planned for the year?

Would love to get some more trail reports. Intend on hiring a 4x4 and doing some trips this Dec, so your reports will be quite helpful.

I am actualy planning to join an expedition to Kumana/Yala etc happening next week.

We will be out for 4 days, exploring the jungles and other interesting places. we are also trying to plot routes through them.

Will post the report once I get back.
