rija
There is a RUMOUR that government is going to reduce the tax of hybrid vehicles before the election. Is it true ? (I have already ordered a hybrid car. So I am really concerned) Edited July 28, 2015 by rija

kodo
M* has included tax reduction for hybrids in his list. I think there's a possibility. But who knows...

To respond to your question : there's just two weeks for the election so I don't think that's practical. Given the fact that there is a budget coming in 3 months I don't think there will be any 'interim budgets' in the meantime. So just quit worrying ... you ordered a car so pay the tax and take it home and enjoy it.

Dude they dont need to wait until the budget or come up with an "Interim Budget" to change the tax ruling. for example if i'm not mistaken the import duty of Outlander PHEV increased last month by introducing 3 seperate agent values (3 different duty charges based on the same).
