Insurance For Older Cars

Does anyone have experience in insuring an older car (comprehensive) this is for a 1992 Ford Laser BG 3,c******o Insurance is asking 27k and HNB is making a big fuss about the cars age and SLIC wants 15k this is to insure it for 600k

Are there any other companies that you can recommend? or personal experiences that you can share

Were these prices quoted by an agent or by the particular company itself ?. I had first hand experience when I went to insure my first vehicle. If you directly go the counter and ask for a quotation they will quote you exorbitant prices. But if you could go through an agent, you could get it at a much lower rate. And learn to negotiate with them too

well im out of the country right now so my father had to go and do it,we did it with SLIC,they have given the usual cardy type policy doc but confirmed by word of mouth that riot and strike and natural disasters are covered too
