My apple 4s currently having ios 8 and I have lost my I cloud passwords ( not able to recover even) .what willl happen if I update into ios 9. Will it lock the phone .does it require to have I cloud password to install ios 9

As far as I know, it'll not lock out your phone unless you have a jail break version running. But if it's your account, you can always reset your iCloud password. This is why when you buy phones 2nd hand, you must ask them to remove the iCloud login.

I got it from someone I know .guy doesnt know the passwrd or anything .so generally talking updating will not lock the phone wont it???
