Suzuki Swift 2004 Jap T Belt Or Chain

DELO 5

Recommended Posts

My brother brought Suzuki Swift YOM 2004 / YOR 2007 ,Japan, recondition, manual car.

"He basically don't know the things about cars and this is his first. Initially he was looking for brand new Indian (Celerio or K 10 / Tata Xeta). I'm the one who changed him for used jap coz, I also looked for xeta and this forum snapped me to own a used Jap. Then I ended up with AE 100 and relay satisfied and happy with it."

Now the doubt is,

Does this model comes with T belt or Chain?

Car has clocked 96000km. So its time to change the T belt if not the chain.

Previous owner was a lady and she didn't know the term "T belt" either.

I'm waiting for your replies before move to the garage. Please!

Best regards...

M13A engine has a timing chain. I suppose this model also has a M13A engine. so no need to worry about t-belt change :-)

Coz this car has done almost 100k kms, better to check suspension, An engine tune up with fuel filter cleaning (most mechanics don't do this as this model's fuel filter resides inside the fuel tank).
