0 LancerL
Hi Machan Don't take that road. The road condition is not that good and sometimes you have to keep waiting about 20mins to get your lane clear as it is single lane on construction slots. Even some parts of the main road is also very bad and old carpet has damaged. Better you take alternative way to drive in peace of mind. 0 k9master
Hi All, Planning to take the route to Batti through Kurunegala, selected route (blue) on the map. And then for added adventure, planning to come back on the following day through Monaragala, Kataragama and Galle (grey on the map). Any tips, thoughts advises are really appreciated. Thanks in advance, K9M

Thanks in advance, K9M Expand Tried Kandy Road- E04 last weekend - massive queue at the Mirigama entrance (I guess everyone was heading out last Friday) eitherway the access road goes through the Mirigama town which causes a little bit of hassle. Unless you're having a stopover at Kurunegala you need to exit at Yaggapitiya instead of Kurunegala exit (near Kuru. Railway Station) as Yaggapitiya exit connects directly to the old Dambulla road. E04 itself is a a scenic drive. Edited February 12, 2022 by matroska
0 k9master
Thank you @matroska. That's really helpful. No need to stop in K'gala so I'll exit early. Cheers, K9M

Thanks in advance, K9M Expand If you can, go down from Batti to Arugambay. That road is a bit of a gem to drive. From Arugambay you can get to Galle....I loved the road...just went there on Wednesday!!!!
