Cigarette Lighter Not Working

Hi all. My car is a Viva Elite & only 2 years old. Recently I bought a dash cam & since there was a problem in the dash cam battery I had to leave it plugged to the cigarette lighter socket all the time. After about 2 weeks the cigarette lighter socket stopped working.

What could be the problem? And should I take it to Unit#d Mot#rs to get it repaired or is there any other good place?

No, you don't need to take the vehicle to Unit#d Mot#rs, any decent auto electrician can fix it. Check the fuse associated with the cigarette lighter socket.

Lol you want to take your car to Unit#d Mot#rs to repair a simple thing like a lighter port? Probably the fuse is blown, take it to any common vehicle electrician and they will fix it.

There's nothing wrong in taking your car to the agents but for something simple like a bust fuse,replacing break-pads etc its a bit excessive to take it to the agent.

And as the gentlemen above mentioned most likely is a bust fuse. Your local car electrician should be able to fix it
