isurujosh
According to sources in autoblog... Toyota is said to have postponed the release of the next generation Corolla by one year. This is dramatic in the sense that Toyota has a tradition of revamping the model every 5 years, and this means current model will have lived for 6 years. Officially Toyota has cited the necessity to concentrate extra resources on the latest Camry as the reason. But it is widespread belief that Toyota has decided to do some redesigning for the next generation Corolla in face of the success of the latest Civic.(17% increase in sales through mid year) The intended improvements are said to be aimed at unseeding the Civic in it's strongholds.
