Subaru XV

Hi Guys, 

I have read many articles in this forum about XV. Helped a lot. 

Have few questions since am looking at buying one 

What's the best version out of the Hybrid Eyesight, Normal Hybrid and the petrol version? 

Any common issues in 2014/15 versions? 

I got a seller who had faced a gearbox issue? Is this common? Will replacing a reconditioned transmission bring the vehicle to its original status or will it be risky buying a XV with such a issue

Petrol (non-hybrid) are rare as hens teeth in SL, eyesight models are higher grade which ads few more features and the price.

Hybrids are not made for economy and will not give much benefit over the petrol.

These are complex vehicles, proper maintenance and a full inspection through the agents are must if you want to avoid any future pains.

Thanks a lot for the info, I'm interest in buying this . In a mindset XV or Sportage. I'm curious with parts availability and long term maintenance. Need to know,

What are the main areas to check when buying second hand

Is there any specific garage to get done repairs except Senok.

Also availability of spear parts (Body Parts and Engine parts) 

Expecting reliable answer who actually owns this and using this as a daily drive.  Thanks in advance
