Toyota Axio 2008 or Toyota 141 2008 or Honda Civic 2008

Hi guys,

I’m planning to buy a Toyota Axio 2008 or Toyota 141 2008 or Honda Civic 2008.. I won’t be daily driving, so fuel economy is not and issue.. The most important thing for me is the second hand value when I’m reselling.. My budget is only 3.5 million.. What do you guys think should be my choice.. Please help.. Thankyou

Well if the car is supposed to be an 'investment' then I'd say you'd rather invest in some other commodity like land etc. You can't predict resale value I mean just for fun think that in 2021 there's a new law that states all cars that are more than 10 years old must pay an annual carbon tax of 200,000 LKR. Do you think the resale value will hold? That's just an example to point out that resale value is something we can't predict. 

Buy the first half-decent Axio that falls in your budget. Will fulfill your most important requirement (even though that might be the only good thing about it )
