Aqua 2012 Eco mode not indicating

Hi ,

I bought a 2012 Aqua recently but nothing happens after clicking on Eco Mode button. Based on what i read ; eco mode should appear in the dashboard. This is my first car and i don't know much about vehicles. Appreciate if anyone of you can help
